Head over to the First United Methodist Church for their annual pork sandwich and homemade pie meal. This over 30 year old tradition is a local favorite you won’t want to miss! (11:00 AM to 8:00 PM)

The Fourth of July parade doesn’t kick off until 6:00 PM, but make your way to Main Street early to save your seat. It fills up fast! (5:30 PM to 6:00 PM)

Insider tip: Try and grab a seat on the West side of the street so you’re in the shade.

If you’re coming to the Wamego Fourth of July celebration, you can’t miss their parade! This year marks 145 years of classic cars, area floats and incredible live music. Plus, who doesn’t like a little free candy? (6:00 PM to 7:00 PM)

Make your way to the fireworks viewing area to grab a seat and enjoy the pre-show concert featuring classic rock band DEPARTURE. Concessions are still open, so grab a funnel cake or slushie on your way to enjoy while you listen! (7:30 PM to 9:30 PM)
